life's small pleasures

for some reason I had some memories that brought me back to when I was in first grade. I remember living in a 4 apartment house. We would often visit mr pedro. They would often make baked apples sprinkled with sugar. The other simple pleasure would be to walk in the woods along the river bank. You could see the drive in across the river. Amazing thing was that I didn't know how to swim. It didn't matter. Swinging around the sappling and jumping across the small streams that fed into the river. Rather simple times where I enjoyed simple things.
