The Power of the Internet

My cousin, aunt and uncle living in Brazil have been enjoying the Second Generation Blog. They sent along a picture of my grandmother and grandfather on my father's side. The picture is a combination of 2 separate photos, one of my grandmother and one of grandfather and his first wife. Paulo my cousin took the picture when he was visiting Portugal. The picture of my grandfather is most likely 80 years old. The picture is very special because I had never seen a picture of my grandfather. My grandfather died when my father was three months old. So I think my father may not have even seen this picture before. If we hadn't had the internet to stay in touch and share our photo's we may have never gotten to see this picture.
