One Long Year of Work

Kind of an exciting time. One year of working on product that finally made it to the market place. The screen shot below shows the article where I introduce the product this month on an online magazine.

Live Earth 07-07-07

I felt compelled to write after seeing Live Earth. Actually it is still going on as I write now.

Each of make choices each day that can either harm our world or make it a better place. I sometimes faulter and don't do everything I can to make the world a better place. Pressures of work and life are sometimes overly time consuming and prevent me from thinking about the consequenses of these choices. By not making it a priority my bad choices will be felt by future generations. Changes to fix the impact of these poor choices on earth won't be easy then. We all must try to recognize the choice we are making and perhaps choose what will allow this place called earth to continue to be a better place for our kids and their kids.

I am not conservationist. I am just a person who maybe with a little extra thought and extra concsiousness can do something to help. Here are some ideas..

1. Not throw batteries or paint in the trash. Your town should have an annual hazardous material pickup.
2. Reduce the amount of garbage I generate. Recycle the junk that I do generate. My wife is great at helping the family recycle.
3. Don't buy a monster car or truck.
4. Try to walk instead of drive. If your company lets you work from home do it.
5. Shut off lights when you aren't in the room. This one is harder than you think for kids!!!
6. Buy energy efficient air conditioners or light bulbs.
7. Pick up after someone else who isn't as educated.

You probably can think and know of others. Choose wisely.
