Remember??

Busy weekend. We got to spend some time with friends and family. We got to see some special college friends this weekend in Sunapee New Hampshire. Of course like every time we see our college friends each of us recalls past memories that have been lost in our minds some where. This time it was do you remember.... when Lou use to come to our dorm room and say.. "You want to eat? Lets go eat." and he would repeat it several times until of course we would go eat. If you say it fast several times it is pretty funny or maybe you just had to be there. Hope you all enjoyed Memorial day weekend. We got to celebrate a friends birthday and also have a delicious cookout at Dan and Kristin's house. We got a small portable camera to take some candids and I am really liking it a lot. We took some shots of Lake Sunapee what a beautiful place.

Dropping In

While I was away on a trip my son dropped in to one of the bigger bowls at a local skate park with Susan. I went to the park with him last week to see him do it too. Here is he dropping in. My daughter continues advancing with the other extreme sport gymnastics.

Stuck at the airport

Nothing like traveling 12 hours and then getting stuck in JFK airport for another 4 hours. I can't wait to get home. And yes I had another adventure in Spain. I convinced 2 other co-workers to come with me on this adventure this time. We went about 35 km north of where we were staying to Segovia Spain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segovia

We missed our train back and had to work our way around. Just a tip people outside of the major cities don't speak english at all. The other tip is that Spanish is very different than Portuguese. I asked a bus driver if the bus was going to the train station. He said it was. Little did we know there were 2 train stations. So we hung out and had dinner there. Very cool town. In the 45 minutes we were there we got to see the aqueducts and the cathedral. Here are some pictures.

Mothers DAY.

I was traveling for business on Mother's day. Seems like all the mom's had a great day. Sorry guys I wish I was there. It sounds like it was fun time. I decided to post Tina's summary as a blog post. I love the pictures!!! Thanks for sharing.

For those that missed out on a great day, here's a short summary: The entire family was reminded to be on time (a few times during the week), Well -Surprise, first time in family history we all showed up ontime... 12:30sharp. I think even Tio Telmo was impressed.

The table was split, kids down one end and the less active folks on the other, with Avo at the head of the table - always prepared to eat:) or scoot to the bathroom every chance she got.

All the mom's got a gf to Dunkin Donuts from Marco and Lisa, great and thoughtful gift guys! Thanks again!

Tia Candida got some new fancy glasses... very sassy. Tia Lola got a beautiful potted plant from Rhoody which I think I almost saw tears in her eyes... it's official, she's fallen for the dog. Tia Cila looked like an island goddess in all turquoise blue and missing her babygirl:)

Tony is growing some red fuzz on his chin that had been the comment of the day. We should maybe take a vote 'It's IN or OUT' Project Runway style:) He was also nominated for the slowest eater. We were all on desert by the time Tony finally finished his meal for 2:)

Katarina had some word puzzles for all of us to figure out. A lot of them were about my stinky feet:) Megan was busy picking Marco's brain.. Literally, we almost saw blood. Marco, hope you're feeling better! I won't mention the cool spiderman tats they were sporting:) - just a little jealous I didn't have one!

Suzy and Paul looked great with they're vacation tan. Adrianna looked adorable in her yellow flowered dress and flirting with the boys. We did see some pushing and shoving so we know she got that from our side of the family:)

Marco and Lisa gave everyone a great idea to help the local economy - doing dinner in your neighborhood restaurants (Burger King doesn't count). Thanks for the tip:) And for everyone's information, Marco is not flying to Vegas every weekend on the MIT Blackjack team. He's tucked away at home working and studying:)

Marta, we all missed you. I think I missed you the most (MEOW). Checking out the talent is not the same without you. There were no Cat WALK moments. There was no one to take crazy pictures with.. I was all alone on this mission:) I tried my best.

Carlos, Susan and the kids.. We missed you guys. Jack missed your boy a lot - he wanted to catch-up on the skateboarder show.. Hope Susan had a fabulous Mother's day. And I hope you're enjoying Spain!

Finally - you guys all missed a great lunch that was picked up by Avo... YES she paid:) along with stealing Marco's desert and I think soup too!

Gray Days in Spring

Pretty gray weekend. Tried to motivate myself to be creative and this is all I could muster. Leaves are finally starting to grow. Looking forward to going to Spain for a week.
